<p>The present invention relates to a rubber composition for tires comprising a novel and long-acting rubber anti-degradant. The anti-degradant of the present invention comprises at least two compounds, each of which is selected from (1) a compound of formula I, (2) a compound of formula IT, and (3) a compound of formula III-a and/or a compound of formula III-b. The anti-degradant is used to provide a rubber composition with improved long-term resistance to thermo-oxidative aging and ozone aging.</p>
