The composition comprises 200 grams of powdered mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla) seeds and 800 grams of ethanol, prepared through a simple maceration and filtration process. The extract contains naturally occurring bioactive compounds such as saponins, flavonoids, terpenoids, and alkaloids, which exhibit molluscicidal properties  against agricultural pests including the Golden Apple Snail. The utility model provides an environment-friendly, low-cost, and locally producible alternative to synthetic molluscicides, requiring minimal equipment and posing reduced risk to humans, animals, and the environment.
